Resurrection Motors Inc. exists to glorify Jesus Christ and use our love of automobiles to make a difference in the lives of young people. We want to help put safer drivers on the road, help students who want to build a career in the automotive trades, and find practical ways for the automotive community to support those efforts. For us, this is about more than cars. It is about teaching responsibility, giving a young person a chance to learn a trade, helping someone discover what they are capable of, and using the gifts God has given us to serve others. Cars may be what bring us together, but people are why Resurrection Motors exists.
Most teenagers cannot wait to get their driver's license. It means freedom, independence, and not having to ask Mom or Dad for a ride everywhere. As parents, though, we see the other side of it. Handing a young person the keys means trusting them with their own safety and the safety of everyone they meet on the road. That is a tremendous responsibility, and we believe learning to drive should be treated that way.
Resurrection Motors is working toward a Christ-centered Driving Academy that teaches more than what is needed to pass a test. Of course, students need to understand traffic laws and learn how to safely operate a vehicle, but we want to go further. What happens when a warning light comes on? Can they check their tires and fluids? Do they know what to do if the car breaks down? Just as important, will they put the phone down, slow down when conditions change, and make the right decision when nobody is sitting beside them telling them what to do?
Our faith will be part of how we teach because driving involves more than knowing the rules. It takes patience, good judgment, responsibility, and respect for the people around us. We want our students to understand that the other cars on the road are carrying someone's son, daughter, husband, wife, mother, or father. Our goal is to send young people onto the road prepared, not just licensed.
College is not the only path to a successful future, and a four-year degree is not the right choice for every student. Some young people would rather understand how an engine works, diagnose an electrical problem, repair collision damage, fabricate a part, or bring an old car back to life. The automotive industry needs people with those skills, and we want young people to see these careers for what they are: skilled professions that require education, hard work, and a willingness to keep learning.
Resurrection Motors wants to help students who are ready to take that path. As funding becomes available, we plan to provide scholarships for automotive technology, collision repair, and related training. The goal is not to pay for everything or replace the financial aid already available to students. We want to help close the gap after students have pursued FAFSA, grants, school scholarships, and other available assistance, so money does not become the reason a motivated student has to walk away from an automotive career.
We cannot do that without people willing to invest in them. Every scholarship we offer will depend on donors, businesses, sponsors, and community partners who believe these young men and women are worth supporting. We may begin with only a handful of students, and that is okay. If we can help one student get through school, learn a trade, and begin a career they are proud of, that is one future changed. Then we help the next one.

When we say we are Driven by the Passion of the Christ, we are describing the standard we place before ourselves: service, sacrifice, compassion, humility, responsibility, and love for others.
We believe God gives people different gifts. Some teach. Some repair. Some lead. Some give. Some encourage. Some have decades of experience they can pass along to someone just beginning. Resurrection Motors exists to bring those gifts together and put them to work serving others.
