At Resurrection Motors, we believe every donated vehicle has the potential to serve a greater purpose. Some donated cars, trucks, and classic vehicles are carefully restored through the efforts of mentors, skilled craftsmen, volunteers, and students learning hands-on automotive and trade skills. Once completed, many of these vehicles may be gifted to individuals or families within the community who are facing difficult circumstances and need reliable transportation. A dependable vehicle can help someone get to work, attend school, care for their family, and regain stability during challenging times.

Not every donated vehicle can be safely restored. Some arrive with severe rust, structural damage, or mechanical issues that place them beyond reasonable repair. Rather than allowing those vehicles to go to waste, Resurrection Motors responsibly sells certain unusable vehicles for scrap or parts. The proceeds from those donations help fund restoration projects, purchase needed parts and equipment, and support educational and mentorship opportunities for students participating in the program. Even vehicles that cannot be repaired still help contribute to the mission of restoring lives and creating opportunities for others.

A special part of the Resurrection Motors mission is preserving automotive history by restoring classic automobiles from the 1980s and earlier, including vehicles dating back to the 1930s. These restoration projects provide students with valuable experience in craftsmanship, teamwork, and problem-solving while helping bring historic vehicles back to life. Completed vehicles may be displayed in museums, showcased at community events and auctions, or used in special giveaways and fundraising efforts that support the nonprofit’s mission. As a registered nonprofit organization, vehicle donations to Resurrection Motors may also qualify as tax-deductible charitable contributions, and a donation receipt will be provided to donors for their records.
